This is a description of the routes offered from the 2022 season.
Göta Kanal Charter carefully selects all routes in consultation with Göta and Kinda Kanal company, which are responsible for staff, locks and guest harbors along the canals. The guest harbors have good facilities such as toilets, showers, shore power and are close to grocery stores and restaurants. The electric boats have fixed places for charging during the nights in the harbor after each day travel. The times are approximate and you have possibilities for breaks like lunch, swimming and sights. In the pre- and post-season, the start times are fixed. You have the opportunity to choose the route at the time of your booking or no later than one week before departure.
Green route:
Motala – Kinda – Motala
Is only valid from week 21 and for the boats:
Delphia Escape, Nano, Albin 25.

Green route is excellent for both the experienced skipper and the skipper with less experience of boating. The route contains both the Göta and Kinda canal. Göta Kanal with the famous locks in Borenshult and Berg with the combination of central city Linköping and further on into the scenic and quiet Kinda Kanal.
Blue route:
Motala- Söderköping – Motala
Applies to all boats, but are especially recommended as a first choice for the electric boats Sigrid, Sophia and Caspian. Check the route here: MAP

Blue route is a fantastic trip where you can enjoy the eastern side of the Göta Canal. Here you experience Borenshult’s and Berg’s lock stairs as well as the lakes Roxen and the small lake Asplången. You spend a night in lovely Söderköping.
Red route:
Motala – Sjötorp – Motala
Applies to all boats but can be recommended to combine red or blue rout for a two-weeks trip or to the slightly more experienced skipper or returning guests. The route requires you to cross Lake Vättern.

Red route offers a wonderful nature experience for example Forsvik, Spetsnäskanalen, the lakes Vättern and Viken. You turn around in the cozy village Sjötorp that is a real highlight at the end of the canal.
