Our boats are rented from and to Motala and you have three routs that you can choose on.
Choose from:
Green route
Motala – Kinda – Motala
This route is perfect for new and experienced guests and includes the most famous locks Borenshult and Berg as well as the scenic “little sister” Kinda Canal.
Does not apply to the boats: Caspian, Sigrid, Sophia (electric boats) and Regina
This route is open between May 15th and September 1st.
Blue route
Motala- Söderköping – Motala
Here you will experience most of the Göta Canal’s famous landmarks such as Söderköping, Bergs slussar and Borensberg.
This route is open between May 3 and September 27.
Red route
Motala – Sjötorp – Motala
We recommend this route to the more experienced skippers and requires you to cross Lake Vättern. Experience wonderful nature such as Forsvik, Spettsnäskanalen, Vassbacken etc… If you rent two weeks, you can include this route to go “the whole canal”.
This route is open between May 3 and September 27.

Göta Kanal Charter Mem-sjötorp
Göta Kanal Charter has been renting out pleasure boats on the Göta Canal in Sweden since 1999. Since 2014, the business is owned and operated by Pontus Björsner.
